Sunset – 3” Paddle Tail

Sunset is a dual-tone paddle tail built to match transitional feeding conditions—when fish are active across both warm surface light and cooler, deeper water tones. One side features a soft orange base with silver flake, imitating baitfish caught in low-angle sunlight and stirred-up shallows. The opposite side shifts to a clean turquoise blue with silver and blue flake, reflecting deeper water forage and open-channel bait profiles.

This 3” paddle tail delivers a smooth, consistent thump that stays active at slow to moderate retrieves, keeping fish engaged through long casts and varied structure. The contrast in color makes it especially effective when fish are reacting to both silhouette and flash during changing light conditions.

A strong producer for spotted bay bass, California halibut, calico bass, sand bass, and other coastal predators, while also performing well in freshwater systems where bass key in on small baitfish and shad patterns.

Best fished on a 1/8–3/8 oz leadhead, where it can be slow-rolled along sand channels, worked through kelp edges, or bounced around structure transitions. Also highly effective on a drop shot rig for a subtle suspended presentation, and pairs well with underspins or flash-style jigheads to amplify its natural shimmer and reaction flash.

Sunset is designed for that in-between bite—when fish are feeding across multiple zones and light conditions, and matching the transition is the key to getting bit.
