Purple Haze – 3” Paddle Tail

Purple Haze is a high-visibility, reaction-style paddle tail built to trigger strikes when fish are keyed in on flash, vibration, and contrast. The pink base delivers strong visibility in stained water and low-light conditions, while the purple side loaded with pink flake adds a deeper silhouette with layered flash that mimics distressed baitfish, squid tones, and roaming forage.

This 3” profile is designed for versatility and pressure situations—small enough to stay natural, but bold enough to stand out in heavy current, dirty water, or low-light windows. The paddle tail produces a tight, consistent thump that keeps fish tracking and reacting, even on slow retrieves.

A proven option for spotted bay bass, California halibut, calico bass, sand bass, and other SoCal coastal predators, while also effective in freshwater systems for bass and other ambush feeders that respond to color and vibration cues.

Best rigged on a 1/8–3/8 oz leadhead, where it can be slow-rolled along structure, worked across sand channels, or bounced through eelgrass and rock transitions. Also highly effective on a drop shot rig for a suspended finesse presentation, and pairs extremely well with underspins or flash jigheads to maximize its reactive flash profile.
