Bay Shift is built for changing conditions—when fish are moving between shadow and light, sand and structure, or locked in on different forage in the same tide cycle. This dual-face paddle tail gives you two distinct strike profiles in one bait: a dark, high-contrast side that throws flash and silhouette in low light or stained water, and a soft pastel green side that mimics natural baitfish and eelgrass forage in clearer conditions.
The black base is loaded with silver, red, and blue flake for aggressive flash and reaction bites when fish are keyed in on movement. Flip the presentation, and the gumby-style green side with silver and blue flake delivers a cleaner, more natural profile that excels on pressured fish or in daylight clarity.
The 3” profile is ideal for matching small baitfish and juvenile forage that dominate SoCal bays and coastal structure zones. The paddle tail is tuned for a steady, controlled thump that stays consistent at both slow and moderate retrieve speeds—keeping fish locked in and tracking longer.
A proven producer for spotted bay bass, California halibut, calico bass, sand bass, and other coastal predators, while also effective in freshwater systems for bass and other ambush feeders.
Best rigged on a 1/8–3/8 oz leadhead, where it can be slow-rolled along bottom structure, worked through eelgrass beds, or swum across sand channels and drop-offs. Also deadly on a drop shot setup for a subtle suspended presentation, and pairs extremely well with underspins or flash jigheads to amplify its multi-flake flash and reaction appeal.
Bay Shift is a true transition bait—built for when the water, light, or bite conditions change and you need something that can shift with it.
